Junior Microsoft Cloud Engineer

Role Description

As a Junior Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you will support migration and implementation projects for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will develop your expertise in cloud service management, identity management, and modern workplace technologies.
You will participate in operational tasks and projects that help you expand your technical skills and grow into an independent engineer.

Responsibilities

    • Assist with migrations from on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure

    • Configure and deploy Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)

    • Provide first- and second-line support for Microsoft cloud solutions

    • Assist in user and identity management tasks

    • Create documentation and maintain change tracking

    • Learn and apply automation tools such as PowerShell

    • Participate actively in projects under senior guidance

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience

    • 1–3 years of experience in Microsoft environments
      (advantage)

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365, and
      Active Directory

    • Strong interest in cloud technologies and
      continuous learning

    • Good English communication skills; Dutch is a plus

Required Certifications

    • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

    • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) — advantage
