Medior Microsoft Cloud Engineer

Role Description

As a Medior Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the migration, deployment, and management of Microsoft-based IT environments.
You will play a key role in helping our European clients modernize their infrastructure and adopt cloud-first solutions.
You will work independently on projects, collaborating with teams and serving as a trusted technical point of contact.

Responsibilities

    • Execute migration projects from on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure

    • Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.)

    • Support hybrid Active Directory environments and identity management

    • Provide technical guidance on tenant configuration, licensing, and compliance

    • Analyze and resolve second-level incidents in cloud environments

    • Support backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis, M365 Backup)

    • Maintain technical documentation and ensure process consistency

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent practical experience

    • 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft infrastructures and cloud environments

    • Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory

    • PowerShell scripting and deployment automation experience

    • Understanding of hybrid environments (Azure AD Connect, Exchange Hybrid)

    • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus

Required Certifications

    • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

    • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)

    • Microsoft MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)

    • Azure Administrator (AZ-104) – advantage

    • Microsoft Security certifications (SC-300, SC-900) – advantage
